Who We Are
Bridges in Tech was started by Joanna Udo, a woman in tech who wanted to set women of color up for success, by providing a space where they can be inspired, motivated and supported at any stage of their technology career.
After spending the first 5 years of her career being the only woman and black person in corporate spaces, she wanted to change the narrative to ensure she’ll never be the only one in the room again.
She went on to participate in different grassroot efforts and ultimately decided to start her own organization where she can take action and have greater impact in the industry.
Bridges in Tech provides trainings, coaching, mentoring and shares stories of other women in the field in hopes that others will be inspired to begin and flourish in the field.
We aren’t focused on one area of technology, we bring awareness to the many areas of technology and guide you through the process of identifying the area that best fits your interests, desired lifestyle and skillsets
